Ingrebourne Day Nursery works within the Birth to Three Framework and the Foundation Stage for older children.

Activities are planned to support the children’s individual development using monthly topical themes and the children have access to an exciting range of toys and materials on a daily basis which are selected to enhance their learning experience in a creative and challenging environment.
Our rooms are big, bright and airy with an unusual amount of floor space and are decorated to ensure the children feel cosy and secure.
We are fortunate enough to have two large outdoor play areas, one specifically designed for and used solely by Foundation Stage children and one for the younger age groups.

The children’s development is monitored and measured regularly and you will have numerous opportunities to meet with your child’s Key Person during their time with us. A comprehensive portfolio of work and observations collected during your child’s time with us is passed on at the point of leaving, this is a valuable body of work which will not only help your child’s transition to their next setting (whether it be another nursery or school) but is also a wonderful memento of such an important developmental stage.
Our staff have been carefully selected to promote wonderful learning experiences for the children and are qualified to a high standard. Staff to child ratios are observed without hesitation at all times. Please use the Staff tab to find out more about our team.
