A casual member of staff does not necessarily need to have a childcare qualification although this does help. You will, however, need to have or be willing to obtain a CRB Enhanced Disclosure (a police check). We will help you through this very easy process if it is not something you already know about.
Casual staff are used to cover regular staff sickness or holidays or may be used to cover unusually busy periods and this type of contract is often ideal for parents who may be restricted in the hours they can work or for those who may be interested in childcare as a career but want to experience the challenge before committing to training.
You need to be flexible as hours may not be the same from week to week and you may be required to work at very short notice
